| Please this is the only station to tune into and listen........dont go off air or go into regional languages......there are too many of them........if you all do so ...it will be how we did to 98.7.......we didnt 'on' that station ever after it became regional.........this is a fervent plea from a family of 4, who tunes in from 7 am and tunes off when we snoozes of at the end of the day...PLEASE DONT DO THIS TO US |

| | Heard that chennai live was turning to a regional station like its rivals! Pls guys chennai live is the only station playing english songs with some great rj's...
In short term perhaps chennai live might gain..But still there are already some 10 stations playing regional stuff in chennai and chennai live would be another animal in the crowded market! Chennai live was born with a philosophy an attitude which was to be different frm others and entertain listeners! I still remember tuning to 104.8fm when u were still doing test transmission in december 2007! Cl has some great stuff going... pls dont convert to regional station! to d MANGEMENT wats d fuss why LOSE d uniqueness of d stn is it for monetry gain thn do d maths u loose much more since u COMPETE wit ten othrs or thr less wat u call TRPs? give CL some more time it will stand on her own feet if a change is needed survey sm time slots whn REGIONAL/HINDI music cud be more EFFECTIVE like morn 12-13hrs and 15-17hrs even after ten....

I live the week thanks to the Good Life show and jive the weekend thanks to the Chennai Live Top 30. Seriously, its the only station i listen to, pl don't let me down. I suggest the management look at a hybrid policy of having some regional programming but retain a lot of english language programming. You are the best thing that happened to all us who yearn for good english numbers in Chennai along with great conversations on the latest things happening in the city, do not throw away your advantage. Try and make it work with a combination strategy, kudos to the RJs that you have as well, they are by far the best across all the FM stations in Chennai. | | hey, I am chennaite and for the past 1.5 year the only FM that I listen to is Chennai Live, Ye I am impressed by CL not only b'cos of its unique feature that it is the only available FM station in chennai to be aired in English but also b'cos of the DJ's/RJ's. Yes their performance is extremely good and I hats off for that.Every day I listen to the station for atleast 2 hrs, you know now a days I dont drop into any music store or surf in google/you tube to find out the best music rather I just tune in to CL and listen to top 30 list and I get to know the best song. Recently when I heard of CL is going regional I was really schoked! I really dont understand why does CL wanna loose its their fans by making such decisions.Seriously it is really a crap to jump into regional when all ready so many channels are available already.CL has now got so many fans only b'cos it is English and I beleive there are euqal number of english speaking people in chennai like regional. | | | Why is it that every time a radio station comes up with an all English show/program it gets canceled or converted to a regional channel? Is it because of revenue generated? I'm sure there is a huge fan base for English music in Chennai. I'm a huge fan of Chennai Live PLEASE DO NOT GO REGIONAL. YOU HAVE HALF A DOZEN OTHER CHANNELS FOR THAT SECTION OF THE POPULATION! IF YOU WANT TO MAKE MORE MONEY THEN... well i don't know, think of something else... BUT PLEASE DON'T BLOODY GO REGIONAL! OR CANCEL!
