Rain water harvest

Rain water one of the precious gift of god to mankind. Water is so important for the survival of any life form in our mother earth. But the clean drinkable water available is so less that we are some times forced to buy them. The solution for this problem is rain water harvest. This idea was introduced if I am not wrong some 4or 5 years back by our government. I am so happy people took it in the right sense and responsibility and implemented in almost all house and major business firms. And to my surprise they even proudly displayed it in front of there offices. But I was shocked to see that this is not fully implemented in most of the government buildings and in the streets and other public places. What more should we do to make this a 100% success. Please do our small part in help saving rain water.

Are they a menance or a sad story. I rememeber in total, we had 3 dogs over a period of 20 years. I have taken puppies from the streets and took care of them like my own brothers. Of late i find so many dogs in my neighbourhood and other place . Sad to say they are all foreign dogs. I remember people used to taken just born puppies from there mother(its cruel but still they give a new life to them) and take care of them. But now a days you can find dogs from all countries less indian dogs. It is sad even people tend to go for foreign dogs than indian dogs. And now they are homeless and are a menance to our society. Is the society just going to kill these poor creatures of god or are they going to give a small family to these cute ones.

States - The Story Of My Marriage : fun book , heavy on stereotypes

Before i pen my views , let me make it clear that i am a big fan of Chetan Bhagat and his books . This book is definately better than three idiots but it relies heavily on stereotypes. Come on, how often do you see an auto driver doing a salute for Rajnikanth in the middle of the road ! , or the fact that people here have no ambition apart from getting into IIT , eating curd rice and carrying two liters of oil on their heads. Now for the good part,Chetan has beautifully captured how parents can turn into a new breed of species when it comes to marriage. Kind sweet parents take one avtar after the other and continue suprising us . But you have to admit Chetans taken a generous dig on both tamilians and punjabi's. :) you know what came to my mind after reading this book , we have three noble laureates from this state , does the world still think that madrasis /Chennaites wear alot of oil , eat curd rice and lack social life ?
